TELL THE GOVERNMENT TO INVEST IN THE ENVIRONMENT
The government is conducting budget consultations now. This is one of the most critical moments of the year, as the federal government allocates funds based on priorities. We can’t afford for climate and nature to not be among them. Your voice is needed to let them know that we need federal investments in the environment.
Send an email to the Minister of Finance to tell the government that you want the environment to be a priority for budget 2020.
The requests that you will find in the email come from "Recommendations for Budget 2020", created by experts from Canada's leading environmental organizations in the Green Budget Coalition.
Your email will be sent to Finance Minister Bill Morneau, to your local Member of Parliament, to Environment Minister Jonathan Wilkinson, as well as to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and to Finance Canada.
